Malaria P.f/P.v Antigen
Rapid Test Cassette (WB)
Key features and details:
Malaria P.f/P.v Antigen Rapid Test Cassette (Colloidal Gold) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Histidine-Rich Protein II (HRP-II) of Plasmodium falciparum (P.f) and Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) of Plasmodium vivax (P.v) in human whole blood. It aids in diagnosing malaria infections.

Product Description:
Malaria P.f/P.v Antigen Rapid Test Cassette (Colloidal Gold) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Histidine-Rich Protein II (HRP-II) of Plasmodium falciparum (P.f) and Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) of Plasmodium vivax (P.v) in human whole blood. The test is based on the principle of the double antibody-sandwich technique. A whole blood specimen reacts with antibodies coated on particles in the test strip. The mixture migrates chromatographically along the length of the test strip and interacts with the immobilized antibodies. If the specimen contains P.f or P.v antigens, a colored line will appear in the respective test line region, indicating a positive result. A control line (C) ensures the test is performed correctly.
